Supervised weight-loss plan Obtain your weight-loss goals with the use of either GLP-1 or GLP-2 weekly subcutaneous injections under the supervision of a certified nurse practitioner. These medications are also known as Semaglutide (Ozempic) and Trizepatide (Mounjaro). These medications work by stabilizing blood glucose levels and decreases gastric emptying to help you lose weight. Now that the medication is helping you metablolically lose weight it is important to embrace dietary and lifestyle modifications in order to maximize your weight-loss and keep the weight off. What is included in the weight-loss plan 1. Initial consultation 2. weekly one on one visits and weigh in's with the nurse practitioner 3. Lab results review 4. Body measurements every 4 weeks 5. Modified diet plan 6. BMI and daily caloric intake 7. Zofran if needed 8. 24 hour telephone support if needed How much is the medication after the 3 months ? all monthly prices or dependent upon the dose of the medication. The larger the dose the higher the prices. Semaglutide ranges from $275-$425 a month Trizepatide ranges from $325-$525 a month * For the initial start add $100 to the first month* Who does not qualify? Anyone with a history of medullary thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, severe kidney disease, severe liver failure, endocrine neoplasia syndrome, allergy to ozempic or mounjaro or a BMI<22. What do I need to do to start the program? Need to make sure that you have had a physical with your primary care provider within a year and have had blood work within 3 months. If you have not had lab work within 6 months, I can order them for you, but they need to be reviewed before you can start the medications
